Shine a light for families in need

Easter Seals BC/Yukon

is dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with disabilities. As a well-established provincial charity, Easter Seals BC/Yukon raises funds to provide programs and services that bring positive change to thousands of individuals with disabilities.

At Easter Seals House, out-of-town families find a comfortable home when they need specialized medical treatment or care in Vancouver. The House, located on Oak Street in Vancouver and near hospitals and treatment centres, has 49 self-contained suites with kitchenettes. For many families, even a basic hotel room is not an option they can afford during these difficult times.

Each year, the House provides over 30,000 beds to families requiring short and long-term accommodation. During the holiday season, Easter Seals House remains filled with families in need.

From December 1 - 31, Easter Seals House will be illuminated with festive lights and stars to shine a light on the very special needs of Easter Seals families during this time. Surrounded by the spirit bears, orcas, and eagles, Easter Seals House will continue to welcome families from every region across BC and the Yukon through the holiday season.

Give to the Easter Seals’ “Light Up The House” campaign to shine a light and help families in need. All donations make a difference.
