Lack Of Men
posted May 14th, 2015 at 7:34 PM
There is a serious lack of datable men in the Lower Mainland. I have polled all my single friends and they all agree. Where are the real men? The ones with confidence, style, and swagger.
At the bars/clubs the men who approach us have no jobs and no sense of direction in life. Since when did it become acceptable to be 26 live at home and do nothing. I mean at least look for a job. Don't just flex your muscles and expect us to date you.
I am sad to say that there is a lack of datable men in the Lower Mainland.

OMG. Boys and Girls. Stop with these ridiculous posts.
You pooled all your SINGLE girls to complain about lack of men. Obviously SINGLE women will complain about a lack of men since they don't have a boyfriend.
"O, I dunno Cathie, there are just tons of men out there but maybe its me that's the problem"
"Totally Sandra, we are just not datable.. lots of men though"
Like the conversation would ever go like that
we've heard all this before

Have you considered anthropomorphizing a bank machine, dressing it up in "swaggy" clothes and duct taping a dildo to it?

Haha another hilarious post crying for the real men? If there were some real women out there I sure don't know about it. Feminism has turned y'all into men anyway so what do you expect us to do? Career, career, career! Family comes second! You get all the jobs now (just kidding...but...) It's all fucked up , especially the 'data' scene...hahaha!
Seriously though, if dudes in their 20s have no jobs and are living at home then they're just boys so can't argue with this pathetic fact. I've got confidence - a heart of gold and a beautiful mind but I'm not physically attractive enough so y'all women look right past me. Bars and clubs aren't where real men and women like to spend their time anyway. The good ones, both sexes, are taken...fact.

Not gonna lie, if I started dating a women who said "swagger,"
She would have about a week to lose the swag talk before she got dumped.
Cant have her making me look like a choose to date an idiot. That would reflect terribly on me.

The cost of living in Vancouver is getting ridiculously expensive. That's all there is to it. This generation, kids can't leave there mama's bosom at 26. And the next generation won't leave until their 36.
Oh put a cork in it

The city is filled with single, good looking successful men. Maybe you're not attracting them because you're not worthy.
Sorry, not sorry.
Ps, Vancouver men I love you all and thank you for ALAWAYS being good to me! <3

I know hey? Like were are all the REAL women? The sweet ones that treat a man like a king and never complain ever? Feel your pain, there certainly is a lack of the perfect opposite sex.
Just a thought

I would hazard a guess that your condescening attitude shows through, you are attracting what you project to others.
Guys just sometimes want to go have a good time, maybe being judged, dismissed and complained about isn't fun?

You are looking in the wrong place..........and stay open to meeting new people..look for real people in real life situations at the store, hobbies , the library, community events, coffee shop......take a class ..you will find them doing things you love. I am taken but I met my man painting outside......I get asked out all the time at the library........on the skytrain.
