Did anybody notice

The stock market Is at record levels even though we are in tumultuous times and seem destined to for at least the near future. Am I paranoid or does that make zero sense at all?

... actually in tumultous times for the people who have lots of money and who work, don't protest.

The "protest culture" that has been manufactured over the last little while is simply a distraction for the nonworking classes, who are basically fucked.

The invisible hand became very visible in 2008, and its connected to a bunch of used car salesmen that are selling you bullshit.

This is just something that the large number of people who got fucked over in 2008 say. Lots of people had a small blip (and stock market investing tends to be long-term, so some years you lose money--it sucks, but it happens) and have since then, due to the "print money" strategy gone on to make huge gains.

The rich and the upper middle class retired boomers are doing _just fine_. It's their children/grandchildren who are screwed. hearing them talk about it is sort f creepy, it's like they _don't care_.
