My phone died a few weeks ago. I used to love messaging and feeling so connected to people. Now, I feel free. I walk around and actually see things around me. I take the bus and I have calm thoughts while I sit on my way through the city. I've noticed I've become more irritable when people text me on my not-so-smart phone...I just want to see people in person. I don't want to spend hours a day on a machine when I can't even be certain who's even on the other side.
