Why is it the ones that shop at Whole Foods and eat organic are always the most plastic?

Sure there are probably some people like that who can afford to shop at Whole Foods & Choices, etc...
but those of us buying it whole sale or growing are own are hippies through & through.

Because if you shop somewhere that is overpriced and full of uneducated staff that tells you it's all good, you have a pedestal to stand on to gloat over those who can't afford the same thing.

or

People need to have something in their empty lives to justify an existence in the material world.

Because they're rich!

Those are the only ones who can afford shopping at Whole Foods. It's a status thing. The vibe in there is almost toxic.
Food is good though.

I saw a very incongruous thing last weekend too - a woman with a Whole Foods bag, standing on a corner, smoking a cigarette. Isn't the point of shopping at Whole Foods to be healthier? :D
