That's life

Sometimes we grieve over friendships that have ended because it makes us feel that no other people can take their place. But what we tend to forget is that when old friendships come to an end, there will always be new ones beginning. As time goes on you may see less and less of certain people until eventually they end up becoming just another face in the crowd. People come in and out of our lives all the time. It happens.

In 2010 about half of my friends died.
You stop making new friends at a certain point in life. You just don't have stuff in common with people anymore.

And sometimes we don't grieve that a friendship has ended, especially if it ended with a "friend" that betrayed your trust in order to give themselves a boost. That critical part of your spirit in which they stole and destroyed, is what you really grieve for.
