Empty Town

Lately on weekends my friends and I have tried to go into our favourite bars and they have half of the place (or all of it) “booked for a private event,” yet they are completely empty.
It’s exactly like the empty condos. Sitting unoccupied, reserved for those who are not participating in the community. UGH!!!!!

Who are these people who don’t show up for reservations or occupy their houses? Do they even exist?

you're going to the wrong places! Look a little deeper, man. The best spots are quiet on a Wednesday night where the bartender is the owner and the only reserved thing in the room are the barstools with labels for regulars. Nowhere worth going is fully booked by some corporate mirage.
