Fake Wedding Ring

Last month I finally fed up with all the creepy men staring at me on the skytrain, when they think I can’t see them. I was browsing rings on etsy because I had to replace a favourite ring that got eatten by my graborator and bought a pretty little wedding band as well. Now men are much more polite and don’t try to chat me up. It feels so much safer for me on transit. All ot took was a little ring on my left ring finger.

This is a great example...

... of how women have no trouble lying if it makes them "feel safe."

Obviously....

Women: ALL Men in Vancouver suck. They are too weak and timid to
approach, so I guess I need to move somewhere else. Ugh,
and if that's not enough, NONE of them have jobs and live
in their mother's basement. Oh, and they're also ALL drug
addicts. And all the cute ones (who we actually want to
date) ALL do the "pump and dump." And did I mention guys
won't approach me?
and now...
"Ugh, men I'm not attracted to have the fucking nerve to
LOOK AT ME! Can you believe it? Why don't men in
Vancouver know their place!? If a man isn't rich and pretty,
he should know that he's "creepy" and he has no right to so
much as make eye contact with a woman he finds attractive.
How dare they cross the line by trying to chat me up? Gross!
And to top it off, ALL men in Vancouver are wimps with Peter
Pan syndrome who won't approach women.

Get over yourself.

Great trick

I did that for years and it works like a charm!

Ironically enough

Many studies have shown that if a guy wears a wedding ring, according to the reality of social proof he is more attractive to women, and gets more attention and flirting.

But don't come on here in 2 months or 2 years or 10 years complaining that men never approach you. We can spot where a ring has been, you know...

My 2 cents

Pretty sure this is all in your head.
You sound pretty narcissistic thinking that men are staring at you everyday. People look at me all the time I don't automatically assume they're checking me out or creeping on me. Not to mention when you're crammed into a virtual sardine can moving on a track there isn't all that many places to cast your eyes.

#2 what makes you think a wedding ring is going to stop creepers? You think those types of people care whether or not you're married?

#3 By taking being married you may deter a possible boyfriend candidate from trying to approach you and strike up a convo.

Sounds like you need a reality check

Me too : )

I did exactly the same thing back in the ‘70’s! Some guys don’t care but most of them do alter their behaviour!

Why would you automatically think they want you when they stare at you? Wow. I find this a little narcissistic.
