I'm not the only one

Hey! How are you? Yes, I'm writing to you! If this is something that we are all going through, don't you think there is something in the environment causing us to feel this way? I mean we have it good compared to other places around the world, and we still feel inadequate, bored, depressed, forcing ourselves to get outta bed, lonely, no friends, cold city, don't you think that ever having access in a split second to everything via smartphone, lap top, computer, the internet, is what is causing all these problems? I don't have all the answers, but this is just my observation.

People without faith in God lead empty, pointless lives filled with emptiness.

And since every where in the world sans the "West" usually does believe in God, it leaves those "wonderful" new shiny godless people looking even more marginalized.

If you think Vancouver is a cold city, then the causes have to be related to Vancouver. Smartphones and computers are used all over the world. Are you saying that Montreal is a cold city too?

SAD

It's pretty evident to me people in Vancouver are suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder and staying indoors because the days are short and the weather is poor. City folk, stuck indoors, become neurotic and depressed, in the winter. Being in nature, with ocean views, blue skies, green grass, sunlight, positively affects your mood. It's a proven fact. Log off people, and go outside!

nah, always a bit blah
