I though some people back in Ontario didn't know how to use the passing lane but you guys out here take it to a whole new level. Are people in BC taught that the left lane is for passing because it's dangerous to pass on the right? Or are they taught use any lane ya feel like? Wake up! If the traffic on the right is going faster, you should move over!

Clueless, entitled, selfish. Take your pick, any combination, or all of the above.
It's actually a finable offense to drive in the passing lane when it's possible to do highway speeds. I doubt it's ever enforced though.
Instead of actually requiring BC drivers to know what they're doing to get a license, we just tell everyone to slow down, so when they inevitably run into each other, the damage is mitigated.
