In real life

People get judged by how they present themselves to society. People will judge the outer appearance for jobs, dating, etc.... So growing up if you were told that only what’s on the inside counts in life. That is a lie. You will have a lot of your fortunes decided by other’s within the first minute because we don’t live in isolation and rely on others for job opportunities, dating choices, etc. So if you want to improve your odds consider what you are presenting outwardly to others.

This is what's real

Sorry but not everyone works in a cubicle or a stuffy office where they can dress up. A lot of us actually work up a sweat, and go home covered in muck. And the only time you may see us, is when we're stopping to grab something on our way home to pass out from exhaustion. Also, on our down time, we're not usually hanging around a mall, or a dance club wearing tuxedos. We're going to the beach, we're going hiking, we're going fishing, we're going camping, we're going to hangout with our friends that aren't dressed to impress either. Couldn't care less if it bothers you. That's just life.

Karma thinks otherwise.

Thou shalt not judge.

Those who seek to judge for they own benefit will come back again and again and again. Infinity is a bitch fuelled by Karma.

Some people actually have the mental capacity to see through all of that , try knowing thyself before bleating.

I just don’t get why this concept is so hard for some people to grasp! We’re no different than the rest of the animal kingdom when it comes to attracting mating partners or being accepted by the rest of the group. If you refuse to accept that, that’s fine, but be prepared to deal with the consequences. Like or not it’s simply the nature of the beast (s).

No different?

Sorry, in the animal kingdom a 5'3 male doesn't put on $1000 shoes to impress a female.

You're confusing fashion with nature. It's a very common problem these days, given that children are reading fashion magazines at very young ages.

I’m not talking about fashion. I’m talking about presenting yourself in the best way that you can. Obviously it makes a difference if you’re a person who works physically or a person who is poverty stricken. You’re not going to look your best at all times. I’m not an idiot. No one can look their best all the time! All I’m saying is that if you’re trying to attract a partner or get a job then you need to be prepared to put in the necessary effort, and that almost always includes presenting yourself physically in a way that the people or company you’re trying to attract will notice in a positive way. If you’re not prepared to do that then stop whining about how everyone else is “superficial”, because you’re fighting human nature whether you like it or not.
