Me: Age 13: unwanted physical contact from restaurant Manager. I am fucking 13. Think about that for a moment. I pushed his hands away and was scared to be near him after. Age 13: Propositioned at the bus stop while waiting to take a bus to above job. The man was probably 40. Age 14: My friends would walk to school and men would pull down their pants showing their cocks while sitting in their cars. Age 19: Groped on the Skytrain near Commercial Drive. I was so shocked I was speechless and I didn’t know what to say. Age 30: Raped on a date with a guy who was teaching me kickboxing.
So fuck you honey if you think MeToo has gone too far. You haven’t even heard the beginning of it. You fucking TRAITOR.

But internalized misogyny is still misogyny.
Not your business

If you haven't been raped, abused or violated I guess this isn't a movement that caters to you. Imagine that: things exist without them applying to you because many other people are also alive around you.

I lost a lot of respect for women.
Are you sure?

Don't you mean harassment is out of hand?

uh ohhhhh ... do i sense an inability to face someone's own actions in life?
because you're coming off a little bit... guilty of something- if not harassment... perhaps a lack of empathy for other's whose stories you will never know.
- yeah some people are going to abuse the movement, I've heard friends try to relate to my own past regarding non-consensual situations & as an abuse survivor of all genres, levels and stages of my young life- sometimes this even can feel invalidating for me, but I don't know what happened there- and that's not my place to decide. That would be adding to the invalidation so many are fighting against. Time's up.
but unless it's got to do with you, stop making it about you. unless it's a harsh reality you've yet to face within. but damn , whatever you meant to say here clearly has a lot of people rubbed the wrong way- which probably means you need to think a little more on the topic

If you only respect women when they are silent and subservient, you never respected women to begin with.
