Well I just moved into a new Condo and surprise surprise the yappy little dog next door like to bark and bark and bark....it hasn't been too bad because it usually stops after 20 minutes or so and it hasn't been doing it late at night or early mornings but sheesh are some owners disrespectful of other people. Get a special collar or train it to stop barking because I'm sure many in the building will be complaining!

I don't dislike dogs, but it drives me insane when people are out with their dogs and let them get in the way of complete strangers. Sometimes I'm out for a run or walk and these idiots just let their dog approach me or touch me. Not everyone thinks your dog is cute and wants to pet them!! Its especially annoying when they say, "don't worry, he doesn't bite." Uh, he doesn't bite you asshole. I've had people let their dogs off leash come up to me and snarl as if they'll tear into me if I make one wrong move.
Dear dog owners: Keep your dog on a leash and keep it the hell away from me.

Kind of off topic but because someone brought running up - don't expect the world to move outta your way; you're the one running around where there's pedestrians and dog walkers.

Annnnyway. We all live in the city. Why does something like this bother you ? Dog owners are shitty and people without dogs are shitty. Learn to live with it or go into the woods and stay there. Hating on dogs and dog owners is getting old.

What gets me is people like the neighbour with two dogs who got outraged last summer when her "dog park" was fenced off to let the grass on the school soccer field recover for the summer.

Yes, that's right, the school soccer field. All the local dog owners treat it as a dog park for their shit-hounds to run around on, shit on, scratch up and otherwise maul. Then they have the nerve to freak out when it's closed for recovery.

One person went so far as to have herself featured in a newspaper, posing in front of the fence claiming that it was her and other dog owners who maintained and "protected" the field. Gimme a break.

I don't care if "It's okay, he's friendly" get your dog's nose out of my crotch.

Meh.

Same goes with children.

I get that some people are downright dumb when it comes to letting their dog off leash, understanding limits with people and other dogs, picking up after the dog etc..

But really, you don't like dogs in general? you probably don't like children, and have some psychotic disorder.

I like dogs, even though I haven't had one in years. Generally they are funny and full of character.. there is a reason they have "therapy dogs".. a good way to relive stress is to hang out with a good dog..

I don't trust people who don't like dogs. I assume women that love cats but don't like dogs probably hate men.

You can trust a dog to have good intentions, a lot more than you can trust a lot of people.

I also don't appreciate when I've just laundered a pair of my nice trousers and someone's pooch runs up to sniff me, leaving muddy dog snot all over them. I am also allergic to dogs, so keep them away! Seriously. I like some dogs. They can be nice. However they are disgusting. When I am around dogs, I wear the same type of clothes that I wear for household chores. Old, shitty clothes that I don't care about and don't have to pay to dry clean. Dog owners, keep them on a short leash. Do not let them drool and snot on strangers. Do not let them harass wildlife, like poor birds who migrate thousands of miles and just want a break to chill in the park. Do not let them shit and piss all over our street trees. You should see the salt stains on the poor tree trunks! Face it. You are keeping a furball slave for your selfish amusement or loneliness. It is cruel to keep dogs in a crate all day. This post is dedicated to the terrible human who has a border collie cooped up in a studio apartment in Coal Harbour. You are twisted!
