Hm

I have a disability and I need a lower counter to be served at the bank. I line up just like everyone else and then when it's my turn I wheel myself over to the lower counter. I'm cool with that because I want to be treated like everyone else. I know others with a disability who want special treatment and then roll straight up to the lower counter and demand someone see them right away. I feel bad because my peers make people with disabilities look bad. You can't demand special treatment then claim you want to be seen as a human being not your disability...

Just a thought

Maybe it never occurred to other people who have a disability that it would be polite to wait their turn. Someone just said, this is where you go when you need service.
It is also possible that they can only stand to be out for so long because of their pain and they need services quickly.
And thanks for being so polite, it is nice when people think of others in the collective group when navigating the world.
