Opinions please: if a bus is full, and elderly people are sitting down in the front, what do you say to someone who is in a scooter or wheelchair or baby in a stroller when they can't get on? Do you apologize or do you get people to move for the person or baby?

The bus is full. Tell that to the wheelchair user.

... no legal obligation to move for elderly, disabled, black, white, etc. people. It's hilarious how telling blacks to "go to the back of the bus" for whites is Evil but it's A-OK to tell everyone to "go to the back of the bus" for elderly/disabled. I guess some people are bad at logic, don't understand that "privilege" = "special treatment."

Those elderly people have paid their fare and are sitting where they're supposed to be sitting. If the bus is full, then the bus is full - there'll be another bus along soon enough

The situation is the same as if there already was another wheelchair/ stroller: bus is full. Elderly people should not be expected to stand.

Refer to the TransLink/CMBC operator (a.k.a. "bus driver") training manual for the standard operating procedures for such a situation.

Not everyone who is old is an invalid. If someone older sees someone in a chair or with a stroller wanting to get in, they should get up. If they can't get up or it is a hardship to get up, then the person waiting has to wait.
They should not be asked to get up, we don't know what they are feeling, they may have limited mobility.
Sadly there are selfish people out there, but you can hope that people would be honest with themselves.

You truly can not be that stupid. Elderly and disabled walk to the back of a moving bus?!

If they cannot use the bus safely, they should not be out in public. I should not be treated like their serf simply because it is convenient for them. If we're all equal, that is. But on this Animal Farm, Old, Disabled, etc. people are more equal than me, at least to some people. I refuse to believe that. If you cannot use the bus safely, it's your responsibility, not mine.
