420 organizers, you piss me off

You winge about people not taking you seriously as responsible adults when you talk about the possible medical and therapeutical benefits of marijuana. Lately when I hear this, all I can think is "responsible adults clean up their own messes." I can't listen to you until you start to behave responsibly by not ruining our park. At the very least, pay for the repair work on sunset beach. The market you held there on April 20th should be able to cover it. Proud about spending $30k on plastic?! Seriously? Have you missed that single-use plastic is a bit of a 'thing' that the world is trying to eliminate? Argh. You piss me off.

It's not single use plastic you idiot.
And maybe you should go check the field to see that the Park Board are lying about the field needing to be shut down for weeks.

Funny that the original estimate of closure was 10 weeks, which dropped to 6 weeks after photos started circulating online. Wouldn’t be surprised if they “quietly” opened it sooner than 6 weeks.

Most of the park/beach will remain open. I’ve been down there and the damage isn’t that bad. There are plenty of parks in town with grass that looks exactly like Sunset beach- where are all the closures to fix those parks? Oh, it’s not happening because it’s not necessary and the grass will be fine.

The park board is doing this to make a statement and rile people like you up, and it’s working.

Italian day and car free day on the drive, pride on Davie. Some of many examples. Y'all just love to hate.
