University of snot faced brats

When will universities stream lectures live so I don't have to see all these silly ridiculous students? It is the 21st century. This is pretty conventional.

What makes you so special? You are free to enrol in long-distance education, and there are many courses you can take online now. You don't know how privileged you are to be able to attend world-class universities in one of the best places to live in the world. Many people are fighting just to be able to go to school.

According to Stats-Canada 1 in 3 male immigrants to Canada leave within 20 years. 60% leave within the first year. The number 1 complaint is the lack of opportunity. Other complaints are the lack of culture, food and the climate, of course. Does that sound like "one of the best places in the world."? Why would immigrants choose to go back to a developing country or elsewhere if it's so wonderful?

I would agree with OP. It's the 21st century, it's time to reinvent education. The world has changed and so have our jobs, why is school the same as it was 200 years ago? The programs should be streamed. That's just so obvious. Studies show that the young people get the same out of the programs if streamed vs the classroom.

I prefer streamed lectures that way I can watch while relaxing in the privacy and comfort of my own home. I'd rather NOT be stuck in a room full of 200 snot faced brats. Better to embrace the solitude.

Thank you for brightening my day, though I wish that was 1 in 2 people who move to Vancouver leave within the first year, not just males or immigrants.
