Tattoos

I can appreciate them as art (the really well done sort, anyway) but whenever I look at people who have a lot of them, I can't help but wonder how silly they'll look when they're in their fifties and older... A small one here or there is whatever, but full sleeves? In your fifties and older? Trashy and sad looking.

The barbed wire on arms look has got to be cringe worthy in 2018 lol

I think a lot of people wonder this.

Like you say, some skinny, elderly guy with the tattoo full sleeves all drooping and hanging.
Not a good look.

Half the people I know who have sleeves.... live at home with their parents who supplement their car, rent, school and thats where they get the extra cash. Maybe I am in the wrong saying this and maybe I am not. But If you are supported by your parents - you shouldnt be sporting a sleeve tattoo.

I think it's trashy and sad to judge people based on their appearance.

Ultimately, just another life regret....

Whenever I see people with large or several tattoos, I can’t help but think they have terrible judgment and zero self-awareness. Downvote my comment, as that’s your right....but man, it’s fascinating that people have a total inability to even consider the possibility that likes/dislikes will evolve over their lifetime. When I was 20, I wore things I would never consider wearing now: miniskirts, one-shoulder shirts, cork platforms, boots with the fur (lol). If I was forced to wear any of those items every single day for the rest of my life, I would have deep shame. That’s just me. Many people can’t commit to a job forever, a partner forever, a home forever. But when it comes to branding your body with an image that will 100% definitely look worse each year, it’s like hey, sign me up! I’ll take two misspelled Chinese symbols please! And yes, I want it on my upper thigh. And maybe also a daisy chain around my belly button.

Ink isn't the only trashy trait

I think it is trashy to call older people with tattoos trashy.
