I learned something from TV

I've been bingeing an old TV show and in one episode, the characters are reminiscing about relationships they've had in the past where the sexual chemistry was off the charts. One of them mused that "we've all had a relationship like that" and how it burns hot and fizzles fast. It was at that moment I realized a relationship I had a few years ago which resembled that description was never meant to last. A relationship like that can't be sustained for long. I'm long done mourning the loss of that relationship but it was nice to have someone, even if it was a TV character, put it all into a different perspective.

You will never recapture that moment with that person, I've tried. Allow it to be one of those hot moments in your life and move on. Sadly, you will always be comparing that moment with the other woman in your life.

I have been in a relationship with intense chemistry. That has not changed and it has been many years. Nothing burns out where you both want to keep working at things.

I thought you were supposed to end intense chemistry relationships as soon as possible so you could lament the ending of something incredible instead of chancing it fizzling.

It Can Last

I’m living proof. It can be extremely difficult but the chemistry and desire keeps getting more and more intense as time goes on.
