You could have titled this any sport, hobby, interest or pastime. No matter what we do and get interested in someone else wants our time and attention. They'll even join just to meet people and then never really get into that thing. Even after coupling up, they'll be applying pressure about the time commitments. Basically, this is exactly why I do what I do with passion and I don't date anywhere near it.

Don’t discriminate

Dragon boating is no different than any other activity that requires practice and competitions. Nor is it any different than hobbies like gaming or basically anything that requires time. It can be problematic for relationship-building when one of the parties is either working or doing something that doesn’t involve the other party. Relationships do take time and effort, and even if you genuinely care for the person and want to encourage them to have a full life, sometimes being too busy means it’s just not possible.
