Ugh

Reserving seats in a movie theatre is ridiculous. And what’s even more idiotic is when you tell us we are in your seats when the theatre is empty. Just sit wherever you want princesses, just like in the old days. PS. Never going to the Fifth Avenue again.

Go sit in the seats you paid for, and leave other people's seating arrangements alone. They paid for their seats, and you are not entitled to them.

So you sat in the wrong

The people acting like royalty would be the ones sitting wherever they want, with no regard for others' reservations.

Instead of complaining about people wanting to sit in seats that they chose, why don't you go to a theatre where you can sit anywhere you want. You come across as a self entitled idiot.

I don't like it either, but that's the way it is these days, so better get used to it or deal with the fallout (bouncers).

So, you were 100% in the wrong, but you thought you'd go online to complain about it anyway? Why did you go to Fifth Avenue and buy tickets with reserved seating instead of going to any of the many other cinemas that don't do it that way?

I agree with you

I'm not a fan of it either
After I sit in my chosen seat
Chatty Cathy is seated behind me and ruins the movie for me and I don't have the option to move.

Most of the time I can predict who will be a talker on first glance and choose to sit away from these types. With pre arranged seating I'm stuck with someone chatting behind me. Someone who thinks they are at home in their living room vocalizing every thought and feeling throughout the movie.
