Forgive and then goodbye

There are some people who've hurt me in the past. I was bitter but now I've learned to let it go and simply forgive them. Just because you forgive someone that doesn't mean you have to associate with that person. I don't wish to stay in contact with any of those people who've hurt me. I guess the best thing to do in a situation like this is to forgive, wish that person all the best then go your separate ways. Amen.

no need to keep contact, Just forgive, have your dirty forgiveness-sex with them, and then finally move on amiably without them.

I haven't met a side of you I didn't like on some level, but I did meet a side I didn't understand. . . Until recently. Best to feel things without shame.

The hardest thing to do is to forgive someone who has not once acknowledged that they did anything wrong. Those people who go through life blaming everyone else whenever something doesn’t work out right for them. Those people who have a long, long trail behind them of broken hearts , and who feel not an ounce of remorse or compassion for the damage they caused. Personally, I don’t forgive people like that. I don’t dwell on it, but I don’t forgive it either.
