Too many constructions, lack of safety

It's summer, and there's construction everywhere. I've seen a lot of close calls where an accident was about to happen. For example, a traffic controller was telling a group of pedestrians to stop and NOT to cross, as a truck was wanting to do a right turn into our path. The Supervisor (not sure what he was thinking) interrupted and told us to cross anyway, contradicting what his co-worker just said. Half the pedestrians began to cross the street, while some angrily said: "What DO you want us to do?" I've even seen "Sidewalk Closed" signs that are not obvious enough and people walk into danger zones. There are more "close calls" I've seen and concerned at the lack of safety at these construction sites. Be careful and aware of your surroundings when you're out there!

Do your best to avoid these situations. Most of the flag people you come across are high school dropouts with no real safety protocols training or even half of a brain cell. In my experience they are more of a liability then a benefit. They also seem to think their little sign is an excuse to play power games. Rely on yourselves to keep safe people!!

In the area I live in the main road out is currently lined with multiple monster (like 20,000 + sq feet monsters that are really just hotels in disguise) houses being built at the same time. There is traffic gridlock now in a place that should only be farms. The flag people seem confused, there are inexperienced truck drivers who can’t seem to back up without taking 10 tries to do it, and there are construction workers all over the road at all times. It makes me so sad that I’m moving completely away, like so many others who just can’t bear to witness the destruction anymore.
