Unfit in Vancouver

Once upon a time, people dressed pretty well and were reasonably fit. Now, there are so many overweight people all running around in fitness gear.

I’m always shocked at how many unfit people are buying “athletic wear” at Nike stores

Fitness gear

is not only geared to attract the attractive (pun intended). Fitness gear is for people who are doing activities ie. hiking, biking, etc.

People do not exist for your viewing pleasure. If you don't like it, don't look.

So?

Why do you care so much about what people are wearing?

Yep

The average waist size of a woman in the 50’s was 27” and now it is 34”. It is due to lack of movement, period. Back then you had to walk to the produce store, the butcher, the baker, and wherever else to get your chores done and most likely they didn’t have a car as cars were mostly owned by wealthy people, not common folk. People now are lazy and order everything online and get it shipped to their door without having to move a muscle, as they say. Wanna get fit? Get off your ass!

Thumbs way UP

It amazes me how many young women dress untastfully. I'm not just talking about athletic wear. I'm talking big tacky, pointed fake nails, over drawn eyebrows, ill fitting clothes and chucks sneakers.

These are the most beautiful years of your life, why would you waste your prime years dressing like in trashy street wear?

how about go F yourself?

hmmm... as an obese person who has recently lost 30lbs and counting in my comfortable moisture-wicking, body-supportive "athletic wear" doing "athletic things" (whether it be rollerblading around the park, going to the gym, a nice-paced walk, or running errands in between) i'd have to say y'all can go F yourself if you think it's a negative thing to see overweight/unfit people in "athletic wear". perhaps if you spent more time in self-reflection instead of reflecting on and judging what other people are wearing, it wouldnt bother you so much :)
