It's worse than in South America in a sense, because at least in South America you had heavy US influence pushing things in this direction. In Canada, we simply haven't had the same influence, we've done it to ourselves because our politicians have convinced themselves that it is basically "racist" to have a Canada for Canadians---at this point even something like throttling immigration to 50-100k/year would be a losing platform for any party.

Canada looks big on a map, but it is becoming seriously over-populated, to the point that the English policing model and freedom don't work. If one is concerned about a "tipping point," that is the serious one, not the climate---if you don't have freedom and a reasonably stable population, you won't do anything about climate.

Although born in Canada my parents never gave a damn for me and the whole country seemed to dislike me for one reason or other.

Now I've emigrated and have never looked back.

eh I'd say parts of it are, but not every country in the "third world" is used the same way we are. it's about economics.

You've always had to work hard in Canada to get ahead...something the pampered youth just don't get.

What better way for the elites to make even more money off our labour and drive down wages then to constantly promote even MORE migration of EVEN cheaper labour from less well off countries so we fight amongst ourselves for the pennies they throw at us.
