So if Vancouver was affordable tens of thousands of people wouldn't leave?

Wouldn't that increase demand and make Vancouver less affordable?

So if [food, medicine, drinking water] was affordable wouldn't people consume more of it? Wouldn't that increase demand and make [food, medicine, drinking water] less affordable?

Why is one necessity of life treated so differently from all the others?

It's all immigration...

... that is increasing density. The province publishes birth states, we have far fewer babies than in the 1980s---it's immigration.

Canada, however, is a dishonest totalitarian state, so it's basically illegal to suggest obvious facts---I've watched the numbers for years, and it is so obvious what is going on.

But here's how it works. Anyone with decent math skills can work and make a decent private sector income, so they have no incentive to go and explain the situation to those people whose math skills arne't as good.
