Gratitude

I was in touch with someone from high school for a little while but not anymore. All that person did was complain and whine to me about how he has nothing in common with most people. Hearing him constantly rant on about how he didn't have any connections with anyone, let alone bringing up the past got very old and exhausting. I didn't know what to tell him anymore, so I basically left him alone. I don't wish to surround myself with negative nancies. Life is too short to piss and moan. Count your blessings and appreciate what you do have. We all have problems, but whining isn't going to change the weather or affect the stock market. Just be thankful that you're alive and breathing oxygen.

I have cut out negative people entirely from my life.
Every day I see younger folks than myself with walkers, canes, wheelchairs, various mental illnesses, various addictions.
And here I am over 60 with a roof over my head, food in front of me, decent mental health and good physical health.
I am grateful EVERY DAY!

Smart move

Letting go of all the negative people in your life is the healthiest choice to make. Not only is it best to see the glass half full, but see the glass filled all the way to the top with your favourite drink.
