Is it unethical to start a fight with an ex about nothing, in hopes of achieving a loss or draw, thereby reminding said ex who seems peculiarily used to abuse that their opinions and self are completely worth respect? ...Asking for a friend.

Interesting question, but I would say no. There's got to be a more genuine, and less dishonest way of leading your partner to that same conclusion. Also, probably best not to denigrate your own name for the sake of theirs.

Is it unethical to post stupid confessions like this one?

... there's no such thing as ethics, hell, even predicate logic you don't get without making stipulations, same for set theory or any system of formal reasoning. So asking if something is ethical is, at bottom, not a question about nature, it means basically this:

A
B
C
Therefore
X is unethical

"Does "X is unethical" follow from A and B and C?" That's all ethics is, a sort of set of stipulations. Ethics really only matter for professionals, where there's some regulatory body to keep them bound to the ethics---if there isn't a body to tie you to the edict (ethic) then feel free to do whatever, because you're free.

As either Ken Babbs or Ken Kesey said at one of the acid tests stored up on archive.org, "it's good to be God." So, what would God, that is, you, do?

I'm not hearing the question sweetheart

Let's put our thinky caps on and try our best to pull real meaning from your little word salad shall we?

Must you turn everything into an opportunity to lecture? You seem as though you’d be happy as a teacher; have you considered doing that. People will pay you to lecture them!

Christ - why don’t people like you ever recognize how much of a gargantuan twat you really are. Your post was excruciating to read... hard to imagine what listening to you in person would be like. Awful I suspect?

I found the OP’s question interesting enough. All you did was announce yourself as a cock.
PS - A BA in Philosophy is about as useless as a degree can be.

Dear lady - lacking the basic cerebral qualities needed to understand the OP’s fairly simple question is no reason to attack. You’re trying too hard to sound clever... stick with reading the Metro.

Well....

Intentionally starting an argument sounds a bit abusive to me.

What about simply telling the ex that his/her opinions and self are completely worth respect? (Perhaps start by treating that person with respect....)
