It makes me slightly less nervous about the guy living in the park beside my house since July now that I have seen him going to substance abuse recovery meetings.

Yes, it's good that he recovers those substances so they can be reused. A great advance in technology. And he can't OD as long as he keeps the dosage constant. That way it's a known quantity (heh). I understand fentanyl is very risky...

At least that neighbor of yours is trying to help himself. I lived next door to a guy who was an alcoholic and had post traumatic stress disorder. The cops were there a lot and no matter how many times they referred him to resources in the community, he didn’t want to help himself. Someone told me that he might have passed away.
Why not reach out to him?
