by someone my age (50s) in the same physical condition as me, similar interests, we find humour in the same things, easy to talk with and have a good time..but he stated he only dates (bangs) 20-somethings. So I say to all those "hot" 20-somethings who are banging older guys---you can keep 'em because we don't want them. No, I'm not bitter just disappointed. I guess I'd hoped that if you make it to 50+ you'd realize that superficiality is the psychic disease of our lifetime. Fortunately, I believe there are plenty of good people in the sea and will continue to fish.

Most only are interested in the financial benefits.
A lot of the females who are attracted to older men grew up without their fathers.

Stop feeling sorry for yourself, and stop feeling sorry for him. "Logic" doesn't apply in dating. Not everybody has the same values as you do, not even after 50 years of life experience. And I mean that with all the kindness in my heart. I know of somebody in his 50's who was banging a "hot" 20-something...until he realized he was being scammed for immigration purposes. So it is possible, and it's not your job to worry yourself over scenarios like these.

Maybe you might find a hot 20 something that is interested in getting it on with you:) Sometimes that is more trouble than it is worth though.

20 years old don't entertain old men except if they are wealthy. If your "friend" can say he only dates 20's year old while he's sick and broke, he's delusional! Believe me when I say younger women suck these old men with money dry (leave them broke) and constantly cheat and play games with them.

Just stirring the pot, I admit, but the conflation of "good people" with "what works for me at my age and dating preference" raises an interesting parallel to sexual orientation. Well, interesting to me.
