There are some excellent, friendly, helpful drivers out there but man, the bad ones are real nasty pieces of work.
Rude answers, dangerous driving including speeding and insane lane changes.
I've complained, same drivers still driving.

I have complained more than once. Is this a real question? Who hasn't complained to Translink about a bus driver is what the question should be lol I can say they actually did something about it because of the change the NEXT DAY. I know, that shocked me too. My complaints were mixed but the ones that were actioned quickly were the ones regarding safety. However, some bus drivers still like to play Carmageddon in Vancouver at some intersections...Keeps you on your toes to say the least.

All "these union goons" that you insult without knowing what you're talking about are the same group of people that fought and died for the standard of living that many of us now enjoy. Minimum wage, 8 hour work day, health benefits and much more are the direct result of the sacrifice of union " goons" like me.

I've complained and tried to follow-up on it. They won't tell you anything, citing privacy.

I doubt that Translink or whatever company it is that employs the drivers did anything, and if they did, the union would have seen to it that their efforts were without consequence.

...comments on unions. The workplace, almost any workplace, has processes and policies on staff conduct and behaviour. Unions must ensure members get a fair hearing on any disciplinary matter...it’s the law.

when they blow-off their run to give themselves an extra long break, usually happens on week-ends and holidays.

They almost never get fired, hence why it's so hard to get a job as a bus driver, harder than getting to be a cop.

depends if your complaint has any merit. also probably gonna have to let go of the idea of "getting someone fired." companies don't let customers rule them like that, union or no.
