Various diets and their benefits

Diets that are meat or vegetable based are both damaging to the environment although perhaps vegetable based might be slightly less damaging, according to research readily available on the internet. The issues with diet are the same as most things in our society in that methods of production are causing the problems and it is not the food choice itself. Meanwhile it is really so outdated to argue about these things although people will focus on these mundane acts. People need to look outside of their bubble to find what types of problems in society really need their attention and stop quibbling about their trends and fashion

This reads like some brainwashed 21st century type preparing to share their "revelations" with everyone else, eventually hoping to be looking at us from the barrel of a gun.
Not a confession

And now we will argue about what we should and should not argue about.
The notion of a fall from grace transcends geography - most mythical traditions have a variation of it. I'd say the modern version is an individual's progression from humanism and compassion into cynicism and misanthropy.
And I'm pretty much there.
Not nearly so frustrated about this anymore. Now, I hope they never stop holding meetings about meetings, and having arguments about arguments. Especially when the underlying original topics and agendas are as meaningless and completely detached from reality as what I see here. All heat, no light.
Sure, once in a while I'll lose it and pipe up with "Hell, wtf is actually wrong with you lot?" But for the most part, I'm sanguine about it.
Because it helps me personally, and serves my own narrow, rational self-interest. All by itself. I don't have to help it and I can't stop it. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't teach a horse critical thinking or rational discourse.
As Cardinal Richelieu (Tim Curry) said that reboot of The Three Musketeers:
"All for one, and more for me."
