We are conditioned by those in media, business and government..

to think we need drugs, tobacco, alcohol, now cannabis. All of it to control us further. I reject it all. I am surrounded by evil.

Read Noam Chomsky's Manufacturing Consent.

WTF are you talking about?

Your remarks are complete paranoia.
People choose drugs, alcohol, tobacco and cannabis of their own volition.
And advertisers tell you how great their product is but that's called capitalism.
Go live in Russia if you don't like it.

What a load of rot.
Humans are conditioned to seek out primitive, easily attainable, instant pleasures by their bodies. The flesh is a superb way to access the whole spectrum of pleasure (sometimes mixed with pain to amplify it further). And the brain is even better. We start in infancy, from food and affection, up to masturbation and validation (really two forms of the same thing), and onward to addiction and autoerotic asphyxiation. This is not a definitive list. It gets much weirder and more complex.
No one has to condition anyone to seek pleasure. As a group, humans are just a bunch of hairless coke monkeys looking for their next shiny or fix. All one has to do is create effective systems for pandering to neural stimulation, human desires and wishful thinking. It's a great business. Ask Coca-Cola, BK, or any convenience store owner. Or your popular, charismatic politicians. Or Facebook. Thumbs Up (tm)!

Criticism helpful if more specific.
Just not to your taste? Tend towards pedantry due to my reading habits.
Or do you object to the sarcasm (often too think, maybe)?
