YVR transport woes

This is what frustration with tedious transport policies looks like: you land at YVR after mid-night, rush to the train station to be told that the last train just left - (why these trains stop running for like 4 hours is beyond me), then you wait for 40 mins in a taxi line-up for a $45 ride back because we're the only city in the modern world without any ridesharing service!

This ridiculous situation has been going on for as long as I’ve been using transit in Vancouver, and that’s going back over 6 decades. Significant lack of any transit options in the late or early morning hours. So stupid! I suspect that the taxi monopolies have something to do with this; when they’re the only game in town they’re the only ones who stand to benefit from such a backwards system.

"Monopolies" is kind of an oxymoron.

Buy a car and leave it in the long term parking lot.
You can even pay a "valet" to bring it over for you.
So convenient!

Oh my GOD!! I'm so sorry! How could I have been so stupid? I must now go and flagellate myself whilst kneeling in corn meal with my bare knees. If only I could hope to be half as intelligent as you clearly are, oh punctuation / grammar Nazi of GS! Can you ever forgive me?
