Commonality?

Wow, so many of the couples I know have very little in common with their spouses. What do they see in one another and how did they build a relationship with a person they have so little in common? It's becoming increasingly obvious that these people are together because they're afraid to be alone.

How do you know anything about their situation?Sometimes having different interests help. And maybe they enjoy each other’s company and live really well together. Never analyze other people’s relationship.

What do you know

It’s none of your business what they do in their private lives....get a life instead of focusing on someone else’s

The instinct to procreate is the reason most couples marry.

What do you know? How many times have you been in their bedrooms with them, tucked under the sheets while they make love? How many times have you taken a long vacation with any of them? How often where you in their kitchen while they were having breakfast and chatting about their plans for the day, the week, the years?

That’s pretty sad..

of you to say. If they’re happy, they’re happy.

Most couples (who stay together) are comfortable rather than truly happy.
We're (esp us females) programmed to think that we won't have a happy, fulfilling life unless we find a partner (& maybe have kids).
But I've learned that it's better to be single, than be in a less-than-amazingly-compatible relationships.
No, I'm not talking about "perfect". But there are a few people who find damn close to it.
