Get a Grip Poly-Sci 101.

I'm tired of these people portraying themselves as individuals with tattoo's, piercings and rhetoric about freedom, dropping hint's that you've read this or that libertarian thinker while doing such a good job oppressing and alienating people for their self-expression and opinions who disagree with you or don't subscribe to your "lifestyle". The hypocrisy is incredible. You're behaving like first year college students who have just attended your first rally and have gotten pumped on politics or worse, a high-school clique. You people should know better, you're in your mid 30's. We have a responsibility to participate in our democracy but politics have always been about compromise so get a grip and start behaving like adults.

We don't...

... have a democracy, we have a constitutional monarchy.

We have no responsibility to do anything but obey the law, that is, the ancient customs of our ancestors. Democracy is a child-like ideology that demands conformance to peer pressure + fashion, not our ancient law.

If they're in their mid-thirties then they are pretty immature. The average age of a video gamer is 35. and if they still think they need tattoo's to express their individuality then they're pretty immature. That generation is a little stunted. They've been coddled by the education system and their parents and it show's. You are going to have to change your expectations from them because that's the way they are. I have. Do some research on Millennial's or Xennial's to help prepare yourself with working or associating yourselves socially with them. I remember when I was a in my 20's and Gen X was the lost generation and this and that. We're a bi-product of or times and that can't change. You have to develop some flexibility in your thinking. People skills.

Are you new?

The people here are smug and sanctimonious. Typical Vancouver.
