People who know peopl e in BC politics know this has gone on for years with ethnic communities---the last time it broke was with "ethnicgate" and it was spun by the media as though this was the BC Liberals trying to take advantage of poor minority groups. Garbage.

We don't have free and fair elections, we're just better at papering over the corruption here in Canada.

I taught as a university instructor in Korea. Girls would be interested in politics. Boys would not. Every single time I asked. The reason is that politics is only important if someone else has it better than you or you feel threatened that someone else is gaining advantage. Men rule Korea and it isn't changing quickly so why should boys care? Girls care because they know they aren't being treated fairly. Vancouver is changing so those that don't have and those that feel threatened should care.
