Climate refugees

Even the wealthy inhabitants of California can be climate refugees. Lack of safe living areas, lack of rainfall and water. It scares me.

Why? They choose to live in an environmentally dodgy place. Those fires are a natural event.

There is some poetic justice in seeing 'Merica' get hit with environmental catastrophe after environmental catastrophe...
I feel bad for those Californians who are informed and enlightened, and who are environmentally aware. But in a sense, much of America voted for this.
