Lose lose situation

I had an opportunity to move to to a new city for work that involved a promotion. There were 2 factors that led me to turn it down, and one of them was a girl I had recently met. She's great. Hard working and motivated, attractive, not stupid, and funny as hell. Yeah she had flaws, but everybody does. She saw me at my worst early and didn't run from it. She was willing to put in the time and effort to try and work through whatever issues arose. Fast forward a month or so, and here I am writing a confession about how I screwed it up past the point of salvation. And that promotion is long gone.

But I still find this inspiring. The way you describe her is beautiful and very much like how I would love a SO to think of me. I haven't found that person yet but it's nice to see these feelings out in the open, even if it is for some other girl.

Not bad. My big dream move to a new place for a girl and a new start fell apart on the first night

She saw you at your worst in the first month and didn't run? Wow, you sound like a real catch and what makes you think women should want to be your emotional slave. I can guarantee she has more trauma than you'll ever know or even care to ask about which is why she is long gone. Good for her, you sound like a self-centered sack of skin.

Wow. You sound like a horrible human being. Stop projecting your own issues on other people.
You're the reason we run

I don't feel one bit sorry for you. I feel sorry for your ex and for @That Sucks thinking this is inspiring, yuck. What part? Destroying someone or destroying someone and being primarily concerned about missing out on making more money?
