My friends male partners

My female friends make good livings at their jobs: entrepreneur, software engineer, director. Their male partners, for lack of a better term, are deadbeats. They stay at home, have dubious online or part time jobs, don’t carry their own weight, and don’t bring much to the table. My friends get into fights with their partners about the lack of money they bring in. These guys just won’t get off their ass and get a fucking job, even with 1 or 2 kids to house and feed. There’s no way I’d let my husband work part time while I work full time, with me still expected to cook and clean on top of my job. Women need to demand more of their husbands or just leave them outright, since these dudes are more like another child to take care of. My friends would be better off alone than with these adult babies.

You are seeing what men have been living with for decades. Do you feel its reasonable for a man to tell his GF/wife the same? I can assure you that what you are seeing is still the exception by a large margin. Imagine how today's feminists would respond to a man saying the same thing about a woman. Why cant you accept a men the same way men have been accepting woman all these years?

I appreciate is not fair when both partners are not contributing if they are able. But you may not have full visibility to everything going on. I personally think men/women equally could be the partner who stays home with the kids if that is best choice for the family. In defence of your post, it does seem to be a West Coast issue. Men here do not seem very masculine with a sense of entitlement.

With the same old dreary message that men are all lazy etc etc etc.
Why don't you get a more productive hobby than trolling your negative propaganda on here.

Oh and BTW,you forgot to add that men are drug addicts and video game players to your dreary negative fantasy.

Eventually this chick will discover her husband is banging his secretary and everything even out in the end.

My sister married a guy who's a useless, abusive loser. When they were dating she liked his impulsiveness and how he didn't stick to any kind of schedule. Now when he doesn't show up to take care of his kid it pisses her off. She was also attracted to him because he was from another country. But the country's culture is patriarchal so while my sister is the actual breadwinner of the family and he's an unemployed loser he still expects her to do all the housework and take care of the kid. The things you like about someone you're dating you might end up hating when you get married.

Why feel sorry for her repeated stupidity?

She knew what she was getting into before she moved them in with her, or her with them... either way, she doesn't have the right to cry about it, especially since you make it sound like she has chosen this path multiple times with different guys.
