Virtual Reality

Will be the end of everything. And the folks creating it, selling it, pushing it are the ones who will profit off of the backs of the poor plugged in masses. They are sucking the life out of everything for another penny in their pockets. Gross! These are the folks that can't function in real life situations so they are creating a world where no one has to participate in actual human interaction any longer. Gross, soulless people.

Yeah, but VR porn will liberate all men from having to get involved with woman or less they choose to.

Once upon a time there was a man who asked a woman to marry him and she said no. He was sad for a while then went travelling around the world, rode motorcycles and bought all the other cool things he wanted and still he still had lots of money in the bank. The End.

It Will?

it is already.

Look around you sherlock, if you have a "smart" phone you're already a cyborg following it's prompts.

Try approaching people here.... like you woke them up from a decades long slumber.

No need to be so judgemental

The world has just become like the science fiction books
only a lot quicker than we were ready for.

and completely agree!!

They are sucking the life out of our children. For their own personal gain.
Not sure how they look their own children in the face knowing how they are completely destroying the human connection.

in William Gibsons novels of the 80's. Just recently I saw some young guy walking down the street with a book, an actual paper book, not his phone, stuck in his face. I have always found books to be a good escape, still do.

This must be in response to that Japanese man who married a hologram and spent 10k on the wedding and had 40 guests. His parents did not attend.

Affluent and travels the world as opposed to be stuck in Vancouver, sounds pretty good to me. I should be so lucky.

Are you 14 years old? What adult casually uses the word "gross" in conversation? I'd rather be plugged in to VR than have to interact with people like you.
