Simple life

It's been years since I've posted anything on facebook. I truly miss the times before cell phones, the internet and social media, when you could spend entire days reading books or watching the clouds without getting bored and when you could enjoy life's moments for what they were, without sharing them with 500+ people. I guess I was born in the wrong decade.

No one is preventing you from reading books or watching clouds, except yourself. Don't blame your birth date.
This is like the people who complain that the music is no good anymore and they wish they could go back to 60s. You can listen to pretty much every piece of music from the 60s for free on the internet now; you don't need to time travel.

Kids now are glued to social media instead of getting out there and playing with sticks in the yard. Do today’s kids even know what a stick is? Or how to dig a hole?

The left thinks sticks and holes are unsafe. But the right doesn't want kids to learn about sticks and holes. What to do!

I think sticks have been recalled because of led paint. The manufacturing of sticks is outsourced to China.
