Tricked

When I was dating my wife she used to regularly do something for me at least once a week. Once we got married this activity will happen once a year on my birthday if I am lucky. I just feel like she pulled the old bait and switch on me.

Q: What do 5 years on the same job and 5 years of marriage have in common?
A: After 5 years, the job still sucks.

Just wait a year or two, when she splits and cites the reason as not being happy.
Anyways, the women on here will say it's all your fault.

You miss her in that way and wish to be excited like that again more regularly. There are ways to get back into those activities. You can become great lovers once again. You just have to work at it!

Is most likely responsible for the majority of running the household, raising the children, providing countless hours of emotional labour...and you’re whining about not getting regular oral action. How about looking at all of the things she didn’t have to do before you were married that gave her more time, less stress and less exhaustion. Try taking one huge responsibility on (I.e. ALL the laundry, ALL the grocery shopping, meal planning and meal prep) and don’t expect all of the praise and gratitude, because really, you’re just helping run the home where you live too...maybe then she’ll be more willing to attend to your needs because you’re treating her like a partner, not the live in maid/cook/nanny/...who also has a full time job.
