Damn it

Obviously no man would ever pick a girl that shows clear signs of being a toxic abuser. And I wasn't wrong either was I? lol I removed you from my life and thanks to that, I now have an even more beautiful life ...instead of the beaten, broken down one I would have had at your hands. You almost had me, but I'm grateful your mask slipped off. Gentlemen, there are plenty of smart, hard-working and gentle women out of this city, say no to the toxic abusive ones.

Everybody (regardless of gender or sexual preference) would be wise to avoid toxic, abusive partners.

Hmmm

No one comes advertised as "toxic"- no they are "sarcastic", "feisty", "high strung", "high maintenance" or "brutally honest."

That’s how it works

“Toxic” is an overused term these days, imho. What you’re actually referring to is the type of typical behaviour of someone with narcissistic tendencies. They lure people into their orbit by being incredibly charming. Only when they’re confident that they’ve got you hooked do they begin to show their true colours. When they do, it’s an insidious thing; it happens so slowly and subtly that you can’t really decide if you’re imagining things (part of their plan) or if they really are that awful. By the time you realize what’s happened you’re usually in love with them because interspersed with the abuse is a whole lot more charm and love bombing. Getting out is very hard, and if you’ve been in it for years, getting over it can take a lifetime.

Yupp!!

It's just about the most painful awful thing you'll have to endure. They also will never let you vent , you will never get to unload all the crap you carry . I literally would have to walk around in the middle of the night yelling at the dark night sky just to unload some of my garbage.

"toxic" is indeed overused.

second only to "narcissistic".

"Narcissistic" is an overused term these days. People aren't just labels.

ENOUGH about the NPD already. You’re commenting on every post about relationships. Not every “abusive” partner has some insidious master plan to mess with people. Some are otherwise messed up, insecure, or just plain dicks. Please stop

Did it ever occur to you that more than one person who may comment on here knows about NPD? I wrote the comment about it to this post, but I haven’t written a lot of them. I guess I’d want to know why someone would be so annoyed hearing about it? Hmmnnnn....The reality is that it’s very real, and since it’s become more common knowledge, more people know about it and can identify typical behaviour in order to protect themselves if they encounter someone like this. But hey, if it bothers you so much, just skip on over the information and hope that you never have the misfortune of being involved with one. : )

Well yes,I have- many times. And many men do.
These women are usually very hot, full of themselves and can be bedded for a weekend or month and then broken up with.
