I am a hypocrite. I get my flu shot. I have aways stayed home when I am sick to avoid spreading germs. I wash my hands and sneeze/cough into my elbow/sleeve.
Well, that was before. Since being injured at work, I am reliant on WCB. They make you sign a contract for 'vocational rehab' (college) stating that you still have to go to class if you have a cold or the flu. If you stay home sick, they can revoke your tuition and living expense money. Sorry to all of you that I will encounter on my commute and in class tomorrow. I'll be taking medication to reduce my symptoms, but I might infect you. You can thank WCB for this! It is against my ethics but if I get cut off I will be screwed.
PS. I so had to go to their Richmond office while sick. I coughed all over the place there. I coughed into my hands and touched door handles. I shook hands with the people there I had to see. They're all sociopaths so I don't care about infecting them. It was the highlight of my day. Hopefully none of them have immunocompromised family or babies, but if they expect all of us to go out when we are cesspool of germs, they should get some germs too. They think they're above all of the crap they do to us? Screw you, WorkSafe! Cough cough cough. A pox on your house!
