I love seeing..

the people that wronged me, or anyone I care about, FAIL. Be it shitty bosses, fake "friends", or cheating partners. There are too many assholes in this world taking advantage of decent humans. Life is hard enough. Stop being dicks.

You know you’re someone else’s ‘dick,’ right?

It is logistically impossible to have not ever wronged anyone in your life. When something bad happens to you, do you own it as having been because you fucked someone over in the past...? Further, someone like you, somewhere is enjoying whatever failures you suffer in life. You sound like the kind of asshole you’re denigrating.

Not me

I wanted to see an ex fail, and then saw that they were and are failing, and it didn't make me feel better. They also don't have the humility to ask people for help, and in this case, it will cost them a lot of debt.

I'm doing well, and I honestly wish they were now too,

I'm an asshole

I think there is an asshole in all of us. Sometimes we're assholes to those we perceive to be assholes. We can be an asshole to them on purpose believing we are justified even though they are not intentionally trying to being an asshole to us. When some people can't get their own way with you, they'll label you as an asshole, and they'll grin ear to ear should any misfortune strike you, and say it's your "Karma". I'm an asshole but at very small percentage of the time. However some people have labelled me to be the biggest asshole on the face of this earth without knowing all my interactions with everyone else I encounter on a typical day.

That all being said, I'm usually always the first asshole to step up and push your car out of the snow or mud as everyone else passes you by in your time of need, and even the fist to defend you against a bully even if I think you are a total waste of space, and far more trouble than you're worth.

Any sort of pleasure out of someone elese's misfortune, no matter how well deserved it may be, will only bring bad karma upon yourself.

Not true. There are decent people who do not hurt others knowingly to move ahead or for selfish reasons. There are many people taking advantage of others that Karma will take care of.
