Social Media

Sometimes I'll randomly think of a person or wonder how they're doing or think oh yeah they posted a good article, and I'll go back and they've removed me, which is fine if I haven't seen them in a while makes sense, but these are people who I'd still most likely see around or run into. And people should manage their FB how they like, but I would secretly just want to add them back just to be super awkward on purpose, like a bit of a sh*t disturber, but I won't because I'm a mature adult :/, but if they don't ever want you back on their fb why not just block? Go the extra step or unfollow. Anyway, I hope other people do this to be funny on my behalf.

Immature people

Same thing happened to me, and it's not even on Facebook but the supposedly "professional" network LinkedIn! I just don't understand these people: some of them I thought I was in good terms with, some not so good terms but nothing that justifies removing me from their network. It's not like I can do them any harm or spying on them. I think it can always be useful to be connected to someone. Why burn the bridge? How are you going to handle the awkwardness if we run into each other again? These people behave like they're still in high school. I also sometimes intentionally stage awkward situations just to annoy them. Then, they act like I am the one being unreasonable or immature. They seem so proper and professional in person but how petty and immature do you have to be to go out of your way to remove or block someone from your social network, especially when they have no idea what they ever done to you. (I'm female by the way, some of these people are males, some females.) Someone annoys you? Just ignore them. Move on with your life like an adult.

This post doesn't make sense to me. Is this what people worry about now? It's kinda sad.

so what’s the point in even adding someone on your social media whom you don’t even say two words to in person?
