Life goes on

Do you ever look in the mirror and wonder how you ever got to looking this old? Today I noticed wrinkles I had never seen before on my neck. I pulled out the shea butter hand cream and slathered it on...nope! Doesn’t work. Still have the neck wrinkles. Then I remembered, hey my mom had neck wrinkles on her 40s too. And she still looks great in her 70s now. Ah well!

The people who look old are the ones that gossip about others, eat trashy junk food like Skittles and cookies and Coke Zero for lunch, and who are jealous people. Your personality accounts for much of how you appear to others.

I can relate

Lately, when I look in the mirror I wonder who is that old person looking back at me. And the hourglass figure is a thing of the past!

50 is the new 30

One of the few advantages of my European ancestry - durability.
My family is young-looking, long-lived, too clever by half... and more than a little crazy. Both sides.
I'm pretty close to 50, and people think I'm in my mid-30s, on average. They usually lump me together with my gf and her sister, who are actually in their 30s.
And we met because my gf ran after me on the street. I didn't even see her, as standard for my usual, oblivious self. She almost got bitten by my dogs for her trouble. It's a funny story.

Then again, I haven't smoked, used a tanning machine or eaten beef since 2000, and stopped drinking in 2007. No junk food, low sugar, hardly any processed stuff and only occasional high carbs for 20 years. Mostly regular exercise and supplements.
So this outcome may not be entirely accidental.
