Fat :(

I get called fat a lot by other people in school and on social media but I'm not that fat. I'm only twenty five pounds overweight. I dont want to go to gym no more but I have to cause I want to lose a bit of weight. Maybe five pounds or so. But they point at my fat and call me pregnant which I'm not, or fatty or make pig noises at me. I try to be positive but it's hard. I eat more when I feel hurt.

People are awful.

If you need to lose weight, keep in mind that it's mostly about diet - 80% diet, 20% exercise, or something. So don't stress if you don't make it to the gym.

Check out some exercises you can do at home that burn fat through body weight. Find a fitness program that will help you build it up.

Any person who does that to another is really messed up. It’s their problem and not yours. I know it’s hard, but I promise that once you understand that they can only hurt you if you let them, it will get easier. What I always think whenever I see someone who’s trying to get fit regardless of what their weight is, is what a warrior they are. It’s easy for someone with a “perfect” body to show it off wherever they happen to be, but for the rest of us mortals it means we have to develop a type of invisible but tough force field where we are impervious to what anyone else thinks. They will look like the ignorant idiots they are if you just hold your head high and show them what brave looks like. You go be the best you that you can be!

Don't lose weight for other people. You will NOT be happier as a result. Embrace the body that you have and focus on leading a healthy lifestyle. Download the "She's All Fat" podcast for feel good, body-positive content that proves that you can be healthy, happy and fulfilled at ANY size. "Fat" is not a dirty word! Good luck to you.
