How to kill a dog

Don't worry, I wouldn't actually do it. But my neighbour below me has a dog that yaps and barks all fucking day while they are out. It's pretty much ruining my life, and is getting worse. But what can I do about it? I have thought of talking to them, but how do you get a dog to stop barking? And I doubt the building manager would be able to or want to evict them over this. And I don't think I would want that. I don't really see a solution here other than moving. But the situation has me tempted to type some very nasty words into google.

Comment if I've ever heard one. TALK to them, NOTHING can get rectified if you don't talk to them.

Talk to the neighbours! If it were my dog (it isn't my dog, is it???) I'd want to know so I could be a better neighbour.

Dogs are a pack species. Some breeds more so than others, but it's a valid generalisation.
Meaning, the opposite of solitary. Isolation is a fairly severe form of punishment to them.
Left alone for long periods of time, they go off the rails. So what you hear is normal behavior. Thus why two dogs are better than one, usually.
Your diagnosis of "sh*tty owner" is accurate. Which sucks.

I was in the same situation, talked to my neighbours and they eventually had to get rid of the dog because others started complaining also.

Youtube has dog whistle audio. It briefly worked with our building's problematic dog. The first 2 times.

There's probably other people around that have already complained. The dog needs a babysitter, and you're it.

I DONT give a flying ratts ass if the dog has anxiety. Deal with it as an owner.
They may not be aware.
You want to remain anonymous.
Your landlord has biased opinions thats why you dont call him you simply call the SPCA and say i am a concerned citizen I worry about this dogs barking.. Is he ok? I feel anxious not knowing he sounds distressed. Which if he has social anxiety. He is distressed. He needs a checkup poor guy. Dont feel bad.
My moms dog barked so much the spca wanted to fine us... Turned out my mom gave our border collie to a good family who had a farm.
The sad thing was after the dog was given away the spca contacted us and said it was our dogs sister dog across the street. Fuckin morons. Too little too late.
